Sharm el-Sheikh
Sharm el-Sheikh sits at the southern tip of the Sinai Peninsula where the Gulf of Aqaba meets the Red Sea. The Nabq Managed Resource Protected Area, the largest protected area in Egypt, contains the northernmost mangrove forest in the world. Inland, Mount Sinai (Jebel Musa) draws pilgrims and trekkers at dawn.
